We are pleased to announce that JOHNSON COMPONENTS & EQUIPMENTS CO. LTD. (JCE), a member of the CTi Group, has achieved a critical milestone by securing the world’s first HDMI 2.2 Connector Certification. This accomplishment paves the way for the successful Cable Certification of HDMI 2.2 products.
 

Based on the official announcement of the HDMI2.2 Specification at CES 2025, the HDMI 2.2 Connector Certification is a brand new, highly demanding standard that signifies a huge leap in connector technology.

Achieving this certification proves the viability of the connector as a key element for meeting the high-bandwidth requirements of the final HDMI2.2 product certification.

The HDMI 2.2 Category Connector 4 Compliance Test Specification was released on November 11th. We are proud to announce that, the very next day, we received approval for the world's first HDMI2.2 Connector Certification!!

What is the HDMI2.2 Connector Certification?
It is an official verification issued by the HDMI Licensing Authority, confirming that the connector fully supports the strict electrical and mechanical performance required by the HDMI2.2 standard.
