HDMI Forum Announces Ultra High Speed HDMI® Cable Certification Program

– HDMI Forum (01/06/2020) announces Ultra High Speed Cable Certification Program Required from HDMI Forum Authorized Test Centers Only. Also, Ultra High Speed HDMI Certification Labels Are Required for All Cable Packages.

– The HDMI Forum announced that their upcoming release of HDMI 2.1 CTS for Category 3 Cable requires that cables must pass certification only by an HDMI ATC and that every length of every model line must be certified.

– A cable can claim compliance to the HDMI 2.1 Spec and use the Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable designation only if it obtains ATC certification and displays the Ultra High Speed HDMI Certification Label on packaging.

– The new program expansion will be available soon and HDMI Adopters will be informed when it launches.
